I have an A4 1.8tq 5 speed
Problem: When you guys start your car early in the morning does your rpm starts at high level(1200rpm) then goes back to normal when it gets warmer? My idle is staying at 900rpm when I start the car... Do you think I have a problem with my idle controll ?

 

As long as the car works fine I guess you shouldn't worry. Where do you live? It's a cold start function, but it doesn't always kick in for me..

 

theres nothing wrong with your car.

 

Even when its cold out my car rarely idles above 1k. If you're really worried about it you could get VAG COM and bump the idle up a coupla hundred RPMs?

I agree with those guys though, I don't think there's anything wrong with your car.
