Based on luminosity measurements alone, 4300k has the highest output at roughly 3200 lumens (compared to 750 for a halogen bulb). That being said, I've had 4300, 5000, and (now) 6000, and I like the 6000k best. Its output isn't much below that of 4300k and is still almost 4x that of halogen but it looks to me to b a richer white light on the road whereas the 4300k seems "hollow", if that makes any sense.

I'm upgrading mine because I wear glasses and already have low night vision. So I need the help.
Odd that you get tickets, I tinted my tails, but upgraded my bulbs, I haven't had any problems with the police yet.
I'll probably tint the LED's when I get them, but more or less very lightly.

I would do green fog lights I was discussing that with someone else recently after your go pink kick off lol.
and the first ticket I was lost in the Bronx and lets face it little white girl driving thro the Bronx 1230 at night on a sunday is a "hey pull me over and write me tickets" billboard.
the second I blew a light and thats what I got. I never upgraded the bulbs and my lights when I say black they where almost opague.
