upgraded turbo wont hold boost

a bov should release regardless of psi, otherwise you kill turbos in no time due to surge. Make sure the wastegate has a line from a pressure source (between compressor outlet to the TB) and the bov has a manifold vacuum source.
basically like this but instead of the mbc, its the n75

yeah thats what i did when i changed the set up to the n75 when it was set up with the n75 the wastegate line fell off the wastegate and i put it back on and it was still only running at 5psi after it fell off but befor it fell off it was at 16psi and now it runs at 0psi like the problem keeps getting worse. so your sayin i should jus hook the n75 valve back up

Yeah when i bought the car it said it was stock but it ran 16psi all gears and with the new turbo it came with its own wastegate. we had to modifie the bov and intake for the new turbo so the bov is one line in with a block plate on the side line and a horn on the other side and top small line so i dont know if the wastegate bad are the bov seals are shot are what im not all that great with audis

A dentist drill is usually a chewed up compressor, but that is if you actually make psi. As for location, as long as you are getting pressure source from the fitting on the turbo, you will be fine. Thats where the pressure for the wastegate is coming from on the pic i had above
