Every time I buy from ecs I get it within two days of ordering sometimes next day, if I order early enough. But then again I'm in the same state. You should ask to speak to that guys boss then when he gets on the phone ask for his boss then complain like a mo fo !

I met the warehouse manager once in a interview seemed a little goofy. When I was walking threw the building ( which is cool, as is all the cars in the parking lot ) the people that worked there seemed to act like there **** don't stink!

so, i got an email confirming the original shipment of the stuff that was ACTUALLY in stock. Then about 20 min ago, on my ride home from work, got another one saying the other part of my order shipped, my fuel filter, which supposedly wasnt going to be to them until the 8th (which i think is still horrible for something "1-3 days" out from the 27th of last month)... wonder how that worked itself out?

Well, at least now I can hopefully plan to start tearing down this weekend. man tho, wat an experience. i can understand if your having a bad day work, but thats no need to be unprofessional. wicked horrible service in my opinion, so now ECS has definitely dropped to the extreme bottom of my vendor list now.

ok im done ranting now, my parts are "on the way" now so...

So my curiosity kicks in today. Ever wonder how Google Map gets their current traffic conditions? Apparently, besides getting from other 3rd party sources, they also get feedback from mobile users. See quote below.

"If you use Google Maps for mobile with GPS enabled on your phone, that's exactly what you can do. When you choose to enable Google Maps with My Location, your phone sends anonymous bits of data back to Google describing how fast you're moving. When we combine your speed with the speed of other phones on the road, across thousands of phones moving around a city at any given time, we can get a pretty good picture of live traffic conditions. We continuously combine this data and send it back to you for free in the Google Maps traffic layers. It takes almost zero effort on your part — just turn on Google Maps for mobile before starting your car — and the more people that participate, the better the resulting traffic reports get for everybody."

Also all 2013 Audi's will all have Google Maps instead of their Audi Nav so this should improve the service.

That's pretty cheap. I thought you're looking for one?

I got one last month from the same yard. All said and done, complete engine minus the harness which is only an extra 50 i just didn't feel like taking the time to salvage it, my engine cost 400 with the turbos and all accessories.

Time to sell my subwoofer system and processing rack to pay for the trips I took while in europe...sad day for me. However the trade off was well worth it. I can always buy new, better subs later. I'm really glad audio equipment holds its value, not a bad place to put my money at the time.

They are truly amazing speakers though, 1 click on the amp would shake the entire house. I had attenuate the signal below 1 click.
