The side I wasn't working on was on a ramp, and the side I was working on was supported by two 6 ton jack stands and a 3 ton jack. The odds of it actually falling were pretty slim but that bang was still enough to scare the **** out of me.

I just checked out this VW driving experience type thing where I get to test drive their new cars in a small pyloned circuit. I drove their GLI and I have never driven a turbo car before...

When accelerating hard, there is this boost out of no where. Im guessing thats when the turbo spooled. I think I found out I'm more of just pure N/A engine type guy. I like to know and have it on demand when I want the power.

turbos are for pussies. NA is man power

ON another random topic...put on flame suit.

I can either stage 2 build an s4 engine and drop it in my car.

or

I have been researching subareas lately, my friend has one and i was helping him find an engine and came across a JDM STI 207

I want to swap it in an impreza 2000 2.5. ultimate sleeper if you know what the 207 is.

The kicker is i would have to sell my a4 plus my s4 engine to be able to do it.

Build an s4 engine and put a TIAL 770 on it. I've seen a few vids on youtube and are just monsters.

Custom single turbo the 2.7, stroked over to 3.0?

Oh sorry, we're entering the world of unlimited funds...

i would do stage 3 frankenturbo. I saw a video and it looked pleasing. Just want a total solid rebuild on it. All new bearings, rings, gasket, all that stuff. 400hp dd. Too big a pain in the *** to deal with
