It's 11am and the heat index is already 105*. I wish I had a garage. Takes all the fun out of working on cars

are we speaking of an exhaust install? or a clutch install?

since this is a chatterbox I'm assuming it means ask random questions you want a quick answer to?

is the a6 2.7tt engine harness the same as the s4 2.7tt?

Meh. Narrowed it down to the inner CV joint on the passenger's side. They both went within 100 miles of each other.

Bones, trying to track down a clunk on my gf's TT. Chatterbox means you can talk about whatever you want, basically an off-topic forum inside the B5 forum. I don't know much about the 2.7TT, but I can't see it being a ton different between the S4 and A6.

Damn, that sucks Chris. Get some Raxles and make sure those things don't break again anytime soon.

To answer your question, the S4 and C5 engines are mechanically the same (as they both are APB engines) though the C5 was built for comfort in which the engine produces less power and torque compared to the S. I believe this is resulted from different ECU's.

Waiting for control arm kit to be delivered from ecstuning. I grabbed their cheaper kit, but still heavy duty upgrade. I'm pretty scared getting stuck with the pinch bolt.
