So instead of it stopping in neutral, it went all the way down to drive, and as this happened I thought OH SHI- then the tires chirped like hell in an attempt to go forward while the car was still going back at about 5. This all happened in about a second and a half btw
I accidentally put mine in park while going ~5mph (maybe even closer to 10mph) last week. It started because my broken CC bracket hooked under the vacuum diaphragm and held my gas pedal to the floor in a parking lot (I had floored it for a second to downshift and it just hung up). I was standing on the brake because I didn't know what was happening, but I threw it in neutral and then shut the car off. I accidentally put it in park before it stopped rolling because I was trying to act quickly before it hit the rev limiter; the parking pawl was clicking like an SOB until I came to a stop. The pawl didn't shear though, I can still use park on hills, thank god... that was some scary stuff. I thought I was about to go Toyota on a restaurant.

TPAM^ Every day while in a car (not mine ) I will still be coming to a stop and just slam it in park and listen to the *Click*Click*Click*Click*Click*Click as it comes to a stop :P never hurt it so far but I don't recommend it lol!

Side note: Since the audi is down what else should I do to it? I was thinking timing belt since i have 145K miles and not sure if it's ever been done, I was thinking about fixing my ebrake, haven't had it since I bought the car... Anything else? I was thinking about doing the APR 6 hour tune to see if I like it or not... I must say that is pretty f^%king awesome that they let you try before you buy!
