ok so i found this little niffy thing about how to check, i turn the key hold the gas petal in and turn the key off, and the trip worked again lol so its not the magnet and i think it was in "limp mode" and i did look at the TCU and it was fine... so looks like i need someone with the Code reader..

^+1, check your tranny fluid levels, if your idle dips or "shudders" during stopping its probably a clogged filter or low fluid. On hard left turns do you notice a loss of power or the car fading in and out of gear? My car used to basically pop into a "neutral" state when in Dif I stopped because my fluid was too low, it would then engage not more than 5-10 seconds later.

If power has been interupted to your electrical system such as disconnecting the battery, to get the transmission going you have to:
1.perform adaptation of the Throttle Valve Control Module
2.perform adaptation of the kick down function
3.Check DTC memory and erase if necessary
4.re generate readiness code if DTC memory was erased
Anyone with a vag com should be able to do these procesures for you
