ugh front axels shot on the Quattro..

Default ugh front axels shot on the Quattro..

ok so a qouple of q's before i start this project.. ok so i went to Autozone and ordered an axel for the front passanger side cuz i noticed the boot was busted (why i didnt check the driver side at that time i do not know) so i go to autozone and pick it up today and put the front on hack stands and i go to pull the wheels and i notice the driver side is shot.. ok heres my q's will this thing drive with out the front CVs? i only would need it to for maybe a day.. and how hard is it to do the replace the axels??

It will not, all power will go to the least resistance (hence what ADL is for), your car wont go anywhere without the front axles as the differential will send all power to the front.

ok cool i figured it wouldnt.. i just left both axels in.. and went to class.. but just as a FYI for anyone looking for CV's go to Advanced auto parts.. i just called them and got the front left axel for 69.99 no core charge. (from what the guy said) but either way they are cheap.. just a FYI for some of you guys
