I wouldn't run a FT on a K03 tune, TBH. That's because I did lol. The injectors won't like it and the car will likely run lean due to lack of proper fuel availability when under WOT.

 

I plan to set up a mbc in parallel and stay out of boost whenever possible. It's not like I'm talking 6+ months, more like a few weeks. I just can't stand to drive the jeep anymore, it rides horrible and it pulls to the right real hard lol

 

I still have to find another ecu for my car to send away, decide on a tune, but injectors and a fpr. By the time I do all that and install the ft I'll probably have the money anyway

 

What ECU are you looking for? I have a few laying around.

You probably have an 8D0 907 557P. I may have an N box laying around that would work fine, especially if you're going to get it flashed anyways.

 

Would I have to recode it to my car? Or is a drop in replacement just from a different year or something?

There is no real difference, ddillinger informed me that the difference in the last letter was due to small changes in some coding parameters (or something like that .) I have run 557P, 557N, and 558M ECUs in my car with no perceptible change.

There are certain early N boxes that cannot be recoded from auto to manual, but I'll confirm this box can be recoded. I can set the code correct for your application with VCDS.

I'm running a flashed 558M box in my car right now.

 

I would take one off your hands if you could recode it for manual/Quattro. For the right price of course lol
