Turbo replacement question

If you are looking at the n75 from the passenger side, sensor plug facing you: Left is to the compressor housing, down is to tip, and up is to the wastegate. The turbo did come with a skinny line attached to the wastegate nipple (smaller than I would normally use) so I didn't bother replacing it, does the wastegate need a lot of air or just some?

I highly doubt the line is the issue. You need to make sure there is nothing wrong with the lines at all.
Also, grab the wastegate rod with a pliers and see how hard it is to open the flapper
