Turbo failure, diy?
Hey everybody, recently i let a friend borrow my b5 and on its return the turbo wasn't working.
the turbo is a k04 which was installed in 2006.
so two questions; you think my friend had something to do with the failure, or was it age. he hasn't really clearly answered me about this.
secondly, is this something i will be able to replace by myself? i did the timing belt two years ago, but had to borrow tools.
thanks for the help.

so, my cat had actually failed. which is awesome..a lot easier/cheaper to replace.
and so i decided i'm keeping the car for the winter so i wont have to drive the wagon thru all the snow we're supposed to get.
