Trying to wire sub...dont want to drill

Default Trying to wire sub...dont want to drill

I have a 1999 A4 and im trying to put in an 8 guage wire from the battery to the trunk for as amp. but there are no holes in the firewall. I dont want to drill....any suggestions? If i do have to drill , where do I do it?

i dunno man... but when you figure out what to do can you post the solution. i will probably be faced with the same problem in a month or so

im not sure where the ecu is in euro cars, but check the passenger side or drivers side, wherever the fuse box is and look where the wires run into the car...you should be able to tap into that somehow....at least that worked for me, i didnt have to do any drilling..and btw....if you want to run any kind of decent power, you need bigger than 8 gauge, i suggest at least 4.

i did have to drill after all. Right next to where the hood pop cable goes through. By the way im only running 400 watts and the 8 gauge is good for up to 600.
