true HID vs conversion kit
ok, question....
is there a difference between true factory HID's and an HID conversion?
this is what im looking at..
conversion kit,
http://www.visionbulbs.com/index.php
projectors,
http://www.360tuners.com/index.asp?P...OD&ProdID=1914
i want HID's but without the price.
will this setup get me close to true HID's?
anyone have pics of what they got?

i think he was referring to the quality and brightness of the light as compared to a factory setup. if it would look the same.

lol that kit is like $140 more than the VVME kit, and the pictures show its the same Philips based kit. GO VVME!
those headlights are ripoffs of the stocks.. just do the conversion! its a fun weekend project.
oh and if you get the ripoffs make sure you know what kind of bulbs they are, the stocks are H7's but some of the rips out there are H1 bulbs... so you dont order the wrong HIDs

bi-xenon is when you turn on your high beams, the projector has a flap that is removed, showing more light
dont need to worry about it, you dont have it anyway
and dont be afraid of vvme.com just because the kit costs 70 bucks, i just did the install on my 02 b6 a4 today with vvme's lights and so far they rock
just make sure to ziptie the ballast down securely
fyi - on my older b5 a4, if your going to do the conversion do it correctly. get the one piece e-code lights from overseas with the e-code beam patterm, you wont regret it
