All of the Audi 6 speed transmissions will bolt up, problem is you end up needing way more parts then just the transmission, this has to do with the fact that the 6 speeds use a different final drive and the transmission is longer then the 01A transmission.
You are better off just having someone pull your transmission apart and putting in a TDI 5th gear.

even the new 2.0 a4 6 speed? still longer and final different? So my next question is, more effective to rebuild the one I have or buy a used one in good shape. I recently blew mine eating a mustang Most every gear grinds, the shifter is kinda funny feeling, and I think I bent or broke the fork inside.

No one makes any aftermarket parts for our transmission. I am working with a shop that is offering to have the OEM parts cryo treated and fully rebuild the transmission at the same time with all new syncro's and seals. But at that point you will be spending around $1000 to rebuild yours or $1500 for a fully built supplied transmission.

Contact Jason or Dan at JH Motorsports 209-968-0077. We need a total of 75 lbs to get all of the cryo treatment done in a batch.
