Default Transmission oil cooler line install help

Hey guys. I'm new here but have been keeping up on posts for the last few months. I've searched for this issue but haven't been able to find an answer yet.

I found out that one of my transmission lines was leaking through a nice rusted spot. If you check this image: http://www.vagcat.com/p/B218/317500.png it's number 34. I was able to get that one replaced but I also wanted to replace the upper line to be safe (number 35.) The connection on the drivers side was too rusted out to twist loose. I was about to cut the line and spin it free when I figured I should check that I could get the new one in place. I'm really glad I didn't cut it since no matter how hard I tried I couldn't get the upper line in. From the top is impossible, and from under the car the front motor mount gets in the way. I'm a noob with my a4 so I haven't tried removing the entire front assembly (bumper, radiator(s), etc.) and really, I'm not looking forward to it. Is there any way to get that pipe in without tearing apart the front-end? Would it even work if I did? Should I disconnect the front motor mount and hope I can separate that and the engine far enough to get the pipe in?

It's an 01 a4 1.8t. The car has 80k miles on it and I want to get the tranny fluid & filter changed as soon as this is done. I know I could grab an aftermarket trans cooler but wanted to keep everything stock until I got a little more familiar with the car. (Just got it in Dec.)

Thanks for the help!

Bump. I'm hoping someone knows so I can avoid taking it in for service tomorrow
