I can not believe that on the entire wWw, I can not find one signle page that tells me the Fluid capacity for 1998 Audi A4 1.8T Quatro.

Next week I have to change the Radiator out since it has developed a Transmission Oil leak.

Can someone either tell me or refer me to a link that shows the fluid capacity for my Car. Also, the one trans Oil that I saw was $33 for 1.5 Litter.

That is nuts to put in a car that has 168K Miles. Does anyone have cheaper recomendation. Pento is good but come on. $33

I also need to Drain my G12 Anti Freeze. What is the full capacity for the Coolant.

I would appriciate if someone can let me know . Thanks.

 

Coolant is 7 litres
Gearbox is 2.7 litres for drain and refil of the sump, you may not need this much

 

I did it. I replaced my Transmission Filter and Fluid. Took about 6 Litters. No special Tools were needed. Send me Email and I tell you how it is done.
