Default Top dead centering a 2.8L May have screwed up.

Okay when I did my last t-belt job I had the larger holes on both sprokets facing each. I can't remember if I had the marking on the crank shaft pulley lined up with the plastic cover marking during the first change.

I am now changing the cam seals and I am taking the belt back off. I didn't line up the crank shaft pulley with the mark but just located the larger holes on the inside like before. Am i safe to take the belt back off and take the cam shafts off to replace those seals?

Did you position them just more or less toward each other or did you line up the cams with the reference marks on the sprockets? Line them up on the marks, and then verify that the crank is lined up right as well using its reference marks. If it isn't, take this opportunity to correct that and put it all back together with everything referenced right and indexed as it should be.

So no matter how the sprokets are lined up the mark on the crank pulley should line up with the mark on the cover.

What happens if I took the crank pulley off already without it lining up with that mark?

NO, like I told you in PM's, they need to all be lined up at the same time to be at Top Dead Center.

Turn the crank with a breaker bar on the crank nut/bolt with the pulley just mocked up. It only goes on one way so dont worry.

I got it figured out. I just needed to keep rotating the crank pulley until they all lined up. I only cranked it enough for the cams to line up not the crank pulley. Just roated it one or two more times for everything to line up.

I got the one side done which was the passenger side and appears to be going to be the biggest bitch.
