Today's mod - HID foglights
#81
you should not have to worry about blinding people with the face lift fog light housings flash, just go ahead and get your self the housings and put on those HID FOGS!!! The winter is a coming!!!................for us northeasters anyway..........

They work out fine because the reflector shapes a wide low beam pattern that works fine with the HIDs. 3000k is a good choice too since it'll cut through the snow/rain/crap of winter. It's a great mod - do it.

Great! Thanks for the replies guys. I think I'm going to pull the trigger on the 35w 3000k ddm kit in a week or two. I have the fog lights already, just have to put them in.
Last year I had to drive through some really bad storms and honestly, 6000k HIDs were reflecting off of large snow-flakes really bad, especially on unlit highways. I was wishing I still had halogens in there. Hopefully this will work out for those freak weather occasions.
Thanks again!
