tires

you could just buy my stock sport 16's with really good tires for 200
but if you do change the diameter make sure it is equal to factory or your speedo will be off
http://www.tirerack.com/
and that is a good site for figuring sizes out

Tires...to upsize or not, that is the question.
I did go up to 215/60s on our A4 2.8 Quattro. Asked on this forum and got mixed responses both pro and con.
Got slightly better ground clearance for the winter, slightly improved milage on 2 long road trips, speedo was off some due to higher OD (overall diameter).
I wanted a little cushier ride hauling four folks with luggage from Iowa to Austin and again to Estes Park. Hoped to get a slight improvement in lighting
with lights sitting higher, and did.
Here's the kicker, my daughter, who drives the car, goes for a scheduled rotation...the tire guys see her and say "you have excessive tire wear due to too large a size, you need new shoes all around". She calls and my BS detector goes off big time until she says "They'll mount them for no charge". And they do. 4 new 205/55s.
So we're back to stock...with slightly better power, dialed in speedo, and a smile.

I think that's what my brother has on his, I can double check. You can see it in my sig, as the far car, but he has the thickest tires that properly fit on 16s and they look awesome because they really fill the wheel well.
Go to discount tire, they have a really good tire calculator.
