Default Tire Size suggestions

I'm buying 18x8 rims and doing a 1.5 inch drop front and back.
Need suggestions for tire sizes. I spent a bit of time trying to find a similar thread but couldn't find one

unless you like a wider tire, I'd go with 215/40. 225/40 is about .2" bigger in diameter than stock and 215/40 is about .1" smaller than stock

i ran 235/40/18 nitto invos with no problems. every tire has a different sidewall design and 235/40/18 is cutting it very close but the invos fit fine with HnR race springs and 18x8 wheels

That size will be fine as long as your wheels are in the neighborhood of a 35 offset. If they're lower, like 30ish, then you'll have to mess with fenders.
