Default tiptronic-friendly turbo upgrade?

Gentlemen (and perhaps a lady, who DOES drive a momma's station wagon )

I plan on upgrading to a K04 / t3t4 / gt2x elim series / gt3071r, nothing bigger, since I don't want a level10 upgrade to the transmission. I'm wondering what turbo will provide good power without killing the tiptronic transmission.

Currently, I'm leaning towards a K04 with a J31 profile, but I'm concerned as to whether or not there will be too much low-end power and the transmission will be torn up, so something like a gt3071r, which provides more power over a broader range, will do better for the longevity of the tranny.

Of course, I could be wrong. Maybe the aggressive K04 won't do anything; but I'm just looking for some advice and opinions, so any and all feedback is appreciated!

im running a GT2871r @22psi and mines holding up just fine...i'll see how it likes the 50 shot tomorrow fwiw my tranny hated the K04 with PC-16 because its way too torqey and much harder on the trans

a 3071r would eat your transmission and spit it out for breakfast

a k04 j31 file is a torque factory, which is bad for rods and tranny's. a t3t4 would be good for your purposes. its journal bearing so its easier on your tranny. 300ft lbs is around the breaking point IIRC
