Default tips for replacing camshaft and lifters

96 2.8 12v. I need to replace a damaged cam. I have the new cam and lifter set. Can anyone tell me if I can get to the cam without removing the timing belt, which was recently replaced? Also, what parts or seals should be replaced when the cam is replaced?

If you're only replacing one camshaft then you have a 50% chance of needing to loosen/remove the timing belt.
