Yeah, lol. Over in the Portland area we can't go below 35%. I'm thinking 20 though, so if anyone has pics of the 20 with the black interior that'd be super.
godfatha, what color interior do you have? It does make a difference.

Dark just makes it harder to see and if you have that dark of a tint on the front door windows it becomes very hard to see while driving at night and this means driving with the windows down at night.
My lowered truck had 2 layers of limo tint all the windows except the windshield and it was a bitch to see while driving at night. I went 35% all the way around on my A4.

I've had 20% before and got questioned about it by the police but never fined. This time around, on the Audi, I'm only going 35%. Looks great on the car, not too dark, kind of a nice smoked look - to me, on a classy car, that's the look to go for.

Do they split the windows anywhere else? In your case, can you not go below 35% anywhere on the car or just on the front windows? See, here in the 801 the laws have it that you can go as dark as you want on the rear passenger and back window; "you can spray paint them black if you want" the article I read says, you just cant go below 43% on the front windows and the windshield cant be touched at all (not sure who would want a tinted windshield anyway, thats just asking for trouble, from more than just cops)
Me, I'm a fan of the darker black on the silver paint that I have. I like ambig's job, it looks slick, the only issue is I can't go that dark on my front windows so it would look goofy for me to split it 5%/40%, so I was planning on 15%-20% on the rear half and the legal 40% for the front, that way the difference isn't too cosmic.
