Tint Taillight Section? (MySpace required)
I'm trying to modify the rear of my Avant a little as it's a little behind the car (snicker). I'm not one for driving a death mobile, but was thinking about tinting just the foglight section of the taillights. Since my PC's crashed, I can only take pics with my cell phone, transfer them to the PS3, and host them on MySpace. Here's the electrical tape action; let me know your opinion, as I am completely undecided.

I've got dual tips and car wash that'll help the appearance more as well.

when you go on your myspace....right click the pictures...then hit properties...copy the address and put it inside [IMG][/IMG]
like this
this is for Cab509s sig, just minus all of the ***** and you get this;
gl!
I don't use myspace and I am sure that there are plenty others on here who don't want to go on your myspace to look at pics

Can't right click on the Playstation, and I have limited java so it's the only place I can host, but I do appreciate the tip and also the posting of the pics!
How do you remove the tint?
That's 2 days after a thorough wash. Cinders and black cars; sworn enemies.

i just wouldn't scuff sand your lights......... everyone says you have to, but i used rc window tint... which is made for plastic rc cars.....
all i did was wash the lights really good and wear gloves so i get no finger prints on them..... and they came out fine...... also think i used my halogen lights in the garage to bake them....... or maybe that was another set i did
but it should come off with some laquer thinner...... if not there might be someone with an avant that would want them tinted

you don't need help, but it is always more fun with more than one person so you have something to do durring dry time...... but like i said wash them
mild soap..... dishwasher type or windex.... something that won't scratch or leave a film on the lights...... then dry...... then come back and "polish" them with a lint free towel
then do light coats to start..... i think i waited like 5-10 minutes inbetween coats.... some people say you have to clear them or they will chip or fade..... i haven't had any of that with mine, but they are a little darker than most people, but still clearly visable..... looks really good with the black paint..... also did my side markers...
