timing trouble
#3
If you are pulling the cam gears off, they don't have to go on any particular way. They do not get lined up with the camshafts. The chilton manual actually has you loosen the nut that holds the cam gear on then pull the gear with a pulley puller to let the gear spin freely on the camshaft. This way you won't accidentally change the timing when putting the belt back on.
As far as the cranshaft holder position, it's on the driver side of the engine a little above the pan I think. There is a 10mm bolt holding a black plastic cover that you will have to remove to put the crankshaft locking tool in place. It's kind of hard to see but once you find it, it is pretty easy to get to.
