you can either rent from blauparts.com or try googling, it also help to know with engine you have and which tool. when i did the belt on my 1.8t and the 2.8 i just winged it, marked the timing and went to town. it works if youre super careful but the cam locking tool is almost must for the 2.8. the tool otherwise just keep the crank (cams on the 2.8) from moving when you're putting on belt and adjusting the idle pulley
