I would still ask them specifically to check the crankcase breather system if they haven't already done that. If it's plugged, you'll have another oil leak soon.
Can I do this myself? I already picked the car up, and I had a 3 week wait the first time.

Absolutely.. Audi B5 A4 FWD V6 30v > Engine > Emission > PCV > ES#1899536 PCV Service Kit - Stage 1 - 3B0198001 read the discription. It's the line that runs from the front of the passengers side valve cover around to the drivers side of the intake manifold, to the back of the engine and connects back there somewhere. Mine is broken in at least 4 places with 135xxx miles. Chances are yours isn't in to great of shape either. This is my next project after I get my Control arms in tomorrow!
