Timing Belt, Power Steering

Timing Belt, Power Steering
Need some advice. I have a 1997 A4 2.8L AFC (12v) non-quattro.
The timing belt was last replaced 7yrs 3mos ago. However only 22k on the belt in those 7 years. Do you think I need to replace - opinions.
Also how difficult is it to replace the power steering pressure hose and the return and cooling hoses. What is the best and easiest way to get to the hoses. Anything I need to take special note of.
Thanks so much for the help.

I too am curious about the miles vs time re: timing belt.
My belt was replaced by the PO about 4 years ago, but I've put on a whopping 10k miles since then since I don't drive that often. Is it more important to replace going off the miles or the years? I also live in a fairly mild climate where it doesn't get too hot nor too cold so that should help some stress on the belt.
I DO know however that if it's any sort of guessing game - just go ahead and do it. If you have to ask if it's getting close, then it's getting close.
