Timing Belt Issue

Timing Belt Issue
So this is the first time i've changed a timing belt and i kinda screwed it up. I took off the old belt and aligned the 2 cams manually to the marks. I never marked the crank pulley and moved it and now i have no idea how to align all 3 of them.
I put together the car not knowing and tried starting it and it didnt start so then i took it all apart again and read what dumb mistakes i made...
is there any way of aligning all 3 of them??

helps to know what engine we are talking about. I'm assuming one of the 6 cylinders since you mentioned two cams.
anyway, good news is that you can probably get everything lined back up pretty well, when the belt if off, line up the cam gears by turning the so that the large holes in the "wings" are toward the center. make sure they are dead on with the cam lock tool or at least a good straight edge. There is a small tick mark on the crank pulley (not the timing belt sprocket but the v-belt pulley) that lines up to a tick mark in the center of the "window" in the 1 o'clock position on the crank sprocket cover. When yo see it it will make perfect sense. Then the cams and crank should be aligned at TDC. Then you can put the timing belt back on.
Now the bad news....
if you tried to start the engine out of alignment you may have "crashed" the pistons. bye bye pistons, bye bye valves. There is a possibility that it is OK, try lining everything up and see how it goes.
keep us posted.
