Marks are aligned, new TB and water pump are installed, old tensioner still has plenty of tension. Going to do some other maintenance while the core support is off then crank it up and hope for the best. Wish me luck!

good luck. sounds like you're having pretty good luck so far. makes so to put the serpentine on or back on correctly. if you're putting it back on, make sure to install it the way it came off. if you put it on backwards you could shred it. belt dressing helps too. also lube up all the pulleys you see.

Yeah, no major snags so far. I bought new Duralast serpentine belts. The only directional markings I found on them was an arrow pointing in both directions longitudinally. I got belt dressing too. Can I use engine oil for the pulleys? or is there something else I should use instead?

He ment if your reusing the belts, they show go back on in the same dirsction. New belts doesnt matter, though I like to put them on so I can read the numbers.

Oh ok. I'm guessing this is so the wear pattern on the old belts remains the same?
