Default Timeless B5 look

Is the window look/profile/shape, etc. not very reminisent of the B5 chasis A4?

I like how Audi is steering away from the more bubly B6/B7 look.

I agree. B6/B7 just doesn't appeal to me looks-wise. These newest ones are awesome though i just saw the commercial for them the other day. Gorgeous cars

I like how they are again designing the trunk lid with the natural lip like the B5 too. Something the b6/b7 strayed from as well.

I definitely like the new a4

the bubbly look kind of turned me off and instead of a b6/b7 i would look to bmw for those years. That's just me. I should probably check the HP of the new a4/s4 but the commercial said the most powerful most efficient a4 ever??

Not really a fan of the new a4, seems to have gone too far into the luxury sedan class. Not a fan of the extra length, who cares about how much space is in the back seat? i'll never sit back there. I just think its lost its sport edge

i think that window looks more like an a6. this whole car is gettin too much like an a6 IMO. i think the A5 is gunna be closer to a B5 A4 in the future, just w/ 2 less doors.

The B8 looks better in pictures but not so much in person (perhaps because I saw the lower end model?).

I have to say the front end looks nice but the rear just kills it. Also interior seems to lost its Audi roots.

But I have to agree, from a glance it does look a lot like the B5.

There are some similar styling cues but the B8 looks totally different in real life. I liked it in photos but was disappointed when I saw it.

The car is MUCH larger, it also has the proportions of the 3series now. The short nose/long hood is good engineering but it does strongly resemble the 3 proportion now.

The overall feel of the car is softer and more "rounded". It didn't come across in photos but in real life, the rear looks a bit "melted".
I don't like the swoopy rockers either- looking like the 1 series and busy for a Audi.

I actually think the B7 is a tighter look. I am not crazy about the B7's tail but overall, I prefer the smaller, sporty pkg of the B7 over the B8.

Engineering and interior of the B8 is really nice though.
