I'm going to be cleaning the EGR valve on my 1997 2.8l and I was wondering if I could get the throttle body and EGR valve gaskets at a VW dealer instead of going to the Audi dealer b/c the audi dealer is a lot further away rather than the VW dealer so I was wondering if the VW dealer would have thoes gaskets?

I would think you should be able to get the parts from a vw dealer.. you can probably find them cheaper online though, maybe ebay

You can go to a VW dealer. The Passat is the same thing, after all. Though my local VW dealer got pretty pissed at me when I said that outright.
