? for those who have installed new engine mounts
-specifically 034 street density mounts.
I finally got around to replacing my stock mounts because. I was getting a lot of vibration on the steering wheel when the engine was under a load and my foot was on the brake. After replacing the stock mounts, I still have some steering wheel shake under the same conditions. The vibration is less but there is still enough to cause the steering column boost gauge make a noise. Is this normal.....will the vibration go away over time?

Not sure how to answer that...I still have some vibration, but not enough to make anything rattle. It's less than it was, but mine were cracked and emptied. You'll probably get more vibration with the solid rubber mounts than you would with new fluid-filled ones. So, some vibration is normal.
Edit: Just to be clear, I too have 034 Street Density Mounts.

Yes, I did this.

I've never seen a steering column mounted boost gauge not vibrate. Solid mounts would definitely vibrate some. If it's bad enough, it could aslo be a worn front half shaft. Axles can twist or if there is much play in a cv joint it can make it unballanced.
