Its absolutely worth it. Once you get over the shock factor of taking a grinder to your fenders its really pretty basic stuff. And as you said, IMO the 1 piece lights offer a much cleaner look.

sorry I didn't read that correctly. I don't think depo makes any two piece headlights for a b5 that uses h7 bulbs. the one piece does. what's so bad with one piece? you just need a facelift connector and trim the fenders a bit. all I did with mine was saw a few slits on each side and fold them back until the headlights sat flush (enough). eurosport garage is a good seller, I've bought a few things from them and nothing was damaged at all.

I picked up my 2 piece black depo projectors at parts4euro.com. Just make sure to put extra silicone all the way around since mine had gaps and they are known to get moisture. Do this as well for the corners. The corners up close do not look the best because of fitment but I'm happy overall. Plug and play for the H7 and D2S 6000k bulbs. Little more narrow of a beam then what I would have liked but damn HID looks nice .
