Things I need to replace as the money (and time) become available:
CV boot
Coil Pack
Cat
Power lock motor
Left side lower door trims, front and back
Vacuum lines (not leaking yet, but looking rough)

I swear, all the vacuum lines should have been made with steel brading around them or something. I guess the heat that's generated from these engines makes them real brittle and start to disintegrate.

crankcase breather hose that runs across the top of the engine cracks every time you touch it. mines is all black taped up. I can think of better things to spend $75 on.

2 CV Joints
Timing belt, thermostat, Water pump, tensioner rollers/pulleys (general service, got shafted for $1400 from a non dealer mechanic, started at $800 estimate and they kept adding costs, car was already taken apart, should have denied them)
Driver seat leather repair (re-leathered for only $100)

Pending:
Autodim rearview mirror has a large bubble
Central lock pump (bought a 95 Passat Pump off ebay in great condition)
Passenger window is acting up (goes up slowly and then drops down, looks like a clip problem based on other posts)
Paint on inside doors is all chipped to the white plastic underneath (Anyone know a good way to paint this??)
LED display is gibberish but legible
Looks like there is water damage type stain or glue in the upholstery near all seams

In summary:
Audi makes crappy plastic...should have learned from American cars!

Jesus $2200 for a clutch and $500 for a wheel bearing?? You're getting bent and fisted by that shop. Find another one or start doing your own work.

Default 2000 Audi A4 Quatrtro 1.8T

New to the forums but have owned an 2000 Audi A4 Quattro 1.8T 5 speed for 2 years
So far:
Passenger side front window (piece that connects window to track broke. Had to modify metal section to fit upgraded replacement part).

Control arm
brakes
vacuum hose
rotor
abs light intermittent (heard a clunk just before it went out last time)
currently trying to figure out if a cv joint or a wheel bearing is going out.

On the good side, it runs great, just added a K&N oil and air filter and already great performance has improved greatly. Gas mileage and power increase well worth it.
