things that go wrong with ALL A4's

in my 98 had to replace radiator, power steering pump, and my secondary air pump, my sunroof would randomly open at times, oil seals were going bad, no cruise. Haven't had a problem with my 00, but the guy like worshiped this thing.

Well...
I think the biggest thing on mine has been having to replace the the steering rack and the front wheel bearings and boots, as well as the right joint but thats only because i ran on the thing with no grease in it for who knows how long.
My "non recall adressed" problems include the sunroof switch and the middle LCD display. I figure they skimped on top knotch diplays since that kind of thing was pretty new on a car in the mid-late 90's.
I remember everyone having problems with that ignition sensor. I cant remember the exact name but it caused poor idling and was almost a certain failure on all b5's.
Our cars are starting to become dinosuars. Im going to be so happy when i get a new job and i can put this thing away and only use it when it rains. Im hoping to start commuting to work on a bike.
does anyone here love Buell sportbikes as much as me?

I purchased my car with 120,000 miles on it, now has 150,000 miles. I have had...
Belts, tensioners, and pulleys replaced
Water pump replaced,
Ball joints, cv joints replaced,
Lower trim is falling off,
Airbag light is on,
ABS light is on,
Interior lights don't turn on when I open the door,
Lines on the center console LCD,
Washer fluid leaks,
Blinker relay switch replaced,
Rear wheel bearings replaced,
Windshield washer motor and transmission replaced,
Thermostat replaced,
Cupholder doesn't pop out anymore,
I can't even remember what else has gone wrong... I do average 31mpg! 99 A4 1.8T

This is the one and only problem I have encountered with my '97 b5. It's currently at 120k and driving like a champ. I haven't had it check to find out if it's the module because ABS still works, but I'm going to get it taken care of soon. Those bulbs in the dash are going to burn out.

Haha, I don't usually go past one. Sometimes I'll set it to two for a few minutes, but that's it. I should try 6 to see what it's like.
