things that go wrong with ALL A4's
well ive been thinking and alot of new peeps have been asking about the same thing that fails, not only failing but usually the same thing on the same side.
example, its always the right rear ABS sensor that fails or the first wheel bearing to go is the right rear, my front right caliper froze today and from searching so did many others, 1.8t always break the t belt or get sludge, the 2.8s always develop a tick
anyone wanna add. hopefully it'll help some newbs.

on a lot of B5's the steering rack seal will break causing a total loss of powersteering. you have to get the whole rack replaced instead of just fixing it. that and wheelbearings have been the only problems on my car.

its all down to maintenancethe age of the car is unimportant (fail to maintain = £££$$$ ) and self inflicted even more so if you have done upgrades and didn't read the instructions or destruction's lol

I think the most annoying thing on my B5 was the CRAP door trim on the bottom(lowers)!!![:@][:@][:@]. The clips would rust and the trim would bend out leaving you're car looking like S hit[:@]
