yes. the lower rear control arm is curved. the straight control arm goes in front of it.

UGHHHH...thanks alot man, sorry for the dumb question. Hopefully the bad control arm is the straight one otherwise I am screwed and need to order again and get someone to install the right one.

I kind of HATE my car right now.

don't worry buddy, I was in the same position as you were not 5 months ago. Ask me how I know why which one goes where.....

I'll tell you.......I was in such a rush to finally get my whole kit install, I paid no attention to how they were labeled. You'll know if they aren't in right when you go to turn the wheel and you can turn it very much....DOH!!!!!

lol trial and success is one thing audi owners are familiar with.

worse part is that money I saved up for mods are getting spent on repairs....I have been car-less for 2 weeks and now it may be longer. i really want to post pics for you guys but it needs to be up and running, not driveway jewelery lol.

usually the lower arms stay good. it's the top ones that go bad. an easy way to check is if you get the wheel off the ground, grab the wheel by the tires and shake. if you see the balljoint shaking, the CA is bad.

You're best off picking up one of the full kits like this one. It's going to save you money in the long run, because eventually you're going to have to replace all the arms.
