Temperature gauges wont work!!!
Ok, i did the stupidest thing ever!!! i had to give it a shot though, i tryed to make 2001 gauges work on a 1999, yeah.. i had to rewire that damn little pins on the back connector's that pluggin. ok and just in case my plan didn't work i marked them to make sure i could put them back the way they were.
ok so i did the rewiring, and everything on the ins. cluster worked, except for the tach... what use is it if the tach doesn't work!!
so then i tried to take them both appart to see if i could take the perfect screen from the new cluster to the old one.. i ffed up the screen from the old cluster as a result! yay[sm=headbang.gif]
so when i was putting the little pins back where they went i ran into a little problem... i have the worst handwriting ever and i couldn't tell my 12 from the 21 and a seven with a little mark next to it... yeah ffing great!! so i tried them all in all the different places.. and nothing!!
just so everyone know what i was working on...
soo what should i do, maybe doyou think that when i took off the needles the little motors got messed up? gas gaugeis ok, just the battery voltage is crazy!
any help?
