Current plan is to pay some bills then put the rest of the money in the bank and sit on it; keep putting all my extra $$$ into savings/CDs/whatever to help me make the purchase of an S5 viable, then once I snag one I'll give my little sister (who'll be just hitting driving age by then) my A4.

Also bought a Snap-on Digital Torque wrench. Trying to work out a deal on an A4..... I bought one on ebay but the lady seems really flaky! And found out since it's not running shipping would be like 700 bucks.... It's a 99 but there is a 97 locally that runs just missing a front bumper which is fine because I want to do the RS4 kit anyways and he's asking 1500. Just not sure though! 1700 for a dead A4 seems like a bad deal, 1400 sounded better lol.

 

Yeah they came on RS6s first(only in europe tho) over here they were on s-line B7 A4s and C6 A6s.

 

Awesome plan! In a few years my oldest son will be getting to driving age... Maybe I'll sit on my B5 for a few years, mods to taste (don't want to kill a young driver with too much power) and maintenance to make sure it's running long enough for him to enjoy... then BAM, new Audi for me!

 

Absolutely; The way I see it I know the car inside and out so I know it's not going to be some $300 beater that will fall apart on her in a week, and I don't have to find places to park 2 Audis! I'm going into town today to test drive an S5 I think; might be a bad idea though, I'll probably want it even more!
