Default tax refund came in wooo hooo

i recieved my refund today and have about $2000 to spend here are my thoughts/questions
1)gpop k03/k04 hybrid
~Will i need larger injectors, FPR, or FMIC
2) APR Stage 1 93 octane (my speed tuning chip no longers excites me)
~how well will it function with the turbo?
3) nuts/bolts and unforseen expences
4)Supporting mods (if needed)

i have searched alot on the subject and have read the newb guide mulitiple times, i didn't want to go with a direct k04 because (my understanding) the pc16 is hell on a Tip trans, so i figured a k03 hybrid would provide good power (with k03 tuning) that would not resault in my trans going bye bye.

but thank you for your help

the link he gave you wasn't for the pc-16 package... that is the k04 with software, rated at 235chp, where a gpopshop turbo and software will put you at around 210chp. not much of a difference as far as hurting your tranny, also it will be better quality.

is there any difference between the k04 gpop sells for $625, and the one ECS tuning sells for like 900?

cause if not, that's a pretty good deal.

The inlet housing of the gpop is something like 5mm smaller. I think it's worth the difference.

chip and exaust then suspension is the best thing to do off the bat.

depending on how many miles your car has i would go ahead and do maintenance first. i know that sounds wacky but trust me i see people every day coming into the dealer in deep **** because they dont do maintenances.

tbelt/control arms/brakes are the most common things.

but speaking of mods, i would go chip/exaust/suspension(if you have sport hold off on this)/ brakes. then once you have this you can begin your ko4 journey.

maintenance is done, i have a chip, don't want to lower the car because of al the snow i get, exchaust is in the works i have the test pipe, and will be installing a stainless down pipe after i have a different flange welded on, and i will be picking up a muffler once i decide which onei like best (leaning toward magnaflow), i do agree however a new turbo wont do jack unless the car is running strong to begin with.
