Lightbulb Tail light masks- to paint or not...

So I picked up these tail light masks from:
http://www.tmtuning.com/HOME/catalog...lt_product=382

And about to paint and install them. The problem is I put them on for a sample and kinda like the way they look already in black. It's too bad I spent $80 on matched paint(including thinner, clear, and flex agent), which I can still return. I'm trying to take a vote and see what you guys think.

My wife says painting em will make it look more classy since I've already painted the front headlight masks.
Tell me what you guys think

I agree. I think they look ok black, but if the headlight masks are already painted then you gotta paint the taillight masks, would look funny to have one set match and the other not.

I'm torn still bcuz the black matches the black tint in the rear and kind of has a spiderman look to it, but the silver looks just as good too.
Guess I'd have to see it driving past me to determine it maybe.
Thanks for the feedback.

umm i say take them off lol... but if that isnt an option then leave them black, it fits the back better with the dark windows... and if u wanna make it look better... black out your rings back there too and ur set

So it's been decided. My instincts always said to paint em'. Now the next question is should I smoke tint the lights before or leave them red? I think it will look good but my friend says it'll look like a rice burner.

I'd say if youre going for a classy look, It'd look better in silver. When I think of classy i think of it being not overly contrasting. It looks good in black. But better in silver.

i think it looks good in silver. i also think it would look cool if you painted it glossy black.
