Ticking sounds like the cam tensioner. The whooshing though I can't quite tell from the video. Could be a vacuum leak, maybe the turbo, or maybe the cam tensioner is so worn down it's making that noise, I just don't know.

Cam tensioner. But I hear another noise too. I'd do the cam tensioner and see if the other noise goes away.

The whirring noise sounds like a bad bearing in one of your pulleys, usually water pump.

if the cam chain tensioner goes bad what would the outcome be? trying to find out if this is something that can wait a couple months or if it is something i need to do now.

When they really go bad, they look like this one I took out of a 30 valve V6 I bought. The guide broke, the chain went slack, valves hit pistons and I bought a $5,000 car for $1,000.

if its the cam chain tensioner, what does the ticking sound usually indicate?

I really don't know. I don't know if it means the guide is bad like the one above, or if that's just the chain going slack and slapping around. Either way, you really don't want to put it off.
