Default Suspension sloppy feeling

my 2000 suspension feels loose and rattles when going slow over small bumps. I know i need to replace parts but I am not familiar with the Audi suspension and where should I start replacing things. I am not interested in updating, just replacing the stock stuff.

How many miles on it? Its probably the control arms/bushings. Aftermarket stronger components are often cheaper than the OEM replacements.

Agreed - control arm issues are most likely the problem.

It has 125,000 on it. Okay i will start with the control arms, what should be the typical next steps if need be.

As I pretty much always say, get a kit and replace it all! It's also usually cheaper than buying just a few parts!

Yep, the whole front suspension starts to get pretty worn over 100,000. Jack your car up and lock the steering, then grab the tire at 3 and 9 and see if there is play.

I've got 120,000 on mine and I'm due for a whole front end job, I'm going with a full aftermarket kit.
