Default Suspension question

So im going to be changing my front and rear bushings next week and im also going to be upgrading my suspension. I have the OEM sport suspension right now and i want to replace my current springs with the H&R Race Springs. With my stock suspension will the ride be super bouncy? Or could i possibly blow a shock? My current shocks have 180k miles on them.

Or what about pairing the H&R race springs with the bilstein B8 shocks (im assuming their the sport shocks their called b8 in the catalog), because i have a shop discount and i can get all 4 bilstein shocks for 250$. . Or would you guys recommend the sport springs instead? I want a nice firm ride, but i want it to look nice and low. Thanks for the help in advance

cant help much cause i dont run springs, i run coilovers. but either way i can tell you that at 180k that probably isnt much left of the shocks, if any. buying new oem or aftermarket would help a ton

H&r or eibach drop springs will cause your stock shocks to fail quickly. Yout will need Bilstein sport (not HD). Best price I've found is still ECS and TireRack

Pretty much what those two said.

I think at 180K, it's a good time to replace the struts and might as well invest in some decent aftermarket ones.

Bets of luck.

If your shocks are already blown after 180k they will be shortly with the installation of H&R race springs.

Your best best is to get a set of coilovers or a spring and shock combo.

I'll be happy to quote you on either, just shoot me a PM!

I need to do this. 115k miles on stock sport shocks with about 15k miles on Neuspeed race springs. Ride is pretty bouncy but I've gotten used to it.

Yeah i sent Jason a PM. Im just looking for the cheapest way to do this. With my shop discount its going to be 250$ for all 4 bilstein sport shocks, and another 250$ for springs. Essentially 500$ for everything. Is there a cheaper way to go or is that pretty much the best? Thanks for all your help guys.
