Chris (CCA4) pointed out a spectacular deal on ECSTuning over in the chatterbox, one that's too good to be passed up. Which leads me to this question: on the 1.8T quattro, are the front and rear shock absorbers the same? The site didn't specify front or rear... Check out the Chatterbox thread for the link Chris posted...

No. Here's a pic of the front and the rear shocks: Fronts are the ones with the threaded post, the Rears are the ones with bushings on the top and bottom. http://www.ecstuning.com/Audi-B5_A4-...Shocks/ES4601/

So based on that info, looks to me like the ones on sale on ECS are rears. Not all that great, but for $19, might as well buy a pair right? lol
