Superchargers for 2.8's

well....how much was/is a pes new?
if they are like the ones for the newer cars 10k then 1500 is fairly reasonable, but if they were only 3k then no
now on that note.... i know that the s/c are really easy to rebuild and most average diy'ers can do it themselves......(with my limited knowledge) whereas alot of the turbos aren't or most people wouldn't try that themselves.....
and honestly if i had bought a 2.8 and joined the forums and found out i was fucked the only way to get power was a s/c or juice then yes i would..........

I am not sure what the operating temp on one of these would be.
What size of a SC should I be looking for. Like I said I would like to use a SC out of a Cobalt but they are designed for 4 cylinder engines. Would this SC be able to provide enough boost for my car or should I be looking for one for a V6 with similar displacement?

If you're a broke college student just leave the car alone. Wait until you graduate and buy something that has REAL potential, don't waste $3,000 on something that will only get you a mild grin. If my smile doesn't reach my ears i wouldn't do it.
If you're goal is to just go blitzingly fast for little money, buy a kawasaki ZX6R, or 650R for less insurance cost. Just suggesting.

I would like to get this car to last a few more years after I graduate and if I am doing that I am putting some money and time in it to get a little more fun out of it.
The ECU software offered from PES would that be able to be tuned a little more easily than the current ECU?
