Sunroof drain grommet pinched (pic included)
Just pulled off the bumper to clear out my sunroof drains and noticed that the rubber grommet is pinched off, is this normal? Should i cut it to expose the drain tube?
Both sides look like this.. I found some debris in there.. sunroof is now draining fine.. but did audi do this on purpose?

heh, once again.. solved my own prob, the hose is supposed to go thru that, and tighten on the red tubing, I guess after time it slowly creeps up.. I just ended up cutting it.. I used a pair of needle nose pliers to pull it thru, and on the passenger side all was well, on the drivers side i ended up pulling the tube too much and it came from the fitting in the headliner, ended up getting water in the car, pulled part of the headliner down (at the rear of the back door) and hooked it back up, there is enough rubber on the grommet that it doesn't have to come out that far, if you go as far as to take the bumper off, do yourself a favour and cut it off
don't pull too hard on that red tubing, or you will pop it off the fitting, and chances are you will end up breaking some of the pillar plastic (like i did), but a little broken interior is far better than water leaking into my car.
