Default Subwoofer install *Pics*

Hey guys,

So I decided to finally install my amp/sub and my ridiculous 0 awg wire. It's an MPR-M1000 and a SWR 1242D. The wire is Kicker Hyperflex. Here are some pics, enoy.

And of course, my assistant:

The box is only mounted like that temporarily. Other than that what do you guys think?

I have the same amp and sub. The amp is the 500 version I believe, great pair, can kick pretty good for one 12. Good job!

nice job hiding all the wiring unlike some cars where wires get tangled on your shoes

Yeah this is the 1000 version. The sub is actually rated for 500W RMS but it can handle the 1000W like a champ, I used it for over a year in my old car.

As far as kick well this is kind of overkill. I'm redoing my license plate tomorrow when my ECS plate frame arrives because right now it is just ridiculous lol.

Really? My license plate never makes any noise. I'm going to dynamat my trunk and doors soon, add more mid bass and clean up the bass coming from the trunk.

I've had this sub for almost a year and it has never let me down.

Yeah it took some time figuring out how to take this thing apart to hide it all but it was worth it, super clean now.

If I'm playing my sub at max I'd say I get like 1 inch of travel on my plate lol. The problem is there are only 2 bolts in the top of the plate. Ive got 4 fresh bolts and a new plate frame arriving tomorrow, should be fine after that.
